Dental Staff

Dr. Bernie Stephenson is a 1988 graduate of Iowa Falls High School.  He then moved on to Simpson College where he graduated with a BS degree in biology in 1992.  He did his post-graduate work at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and earned a D.D.S. degree in 1996.  Dr. Stephenson is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentists.  He is a past president and current member of both the Boone-Story Dental Study Club and the Midwest Orthognathic Study Club.

Dr. Stephenson is also involved in the Nevada community.  He is a past president of the Nevada Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Rotary, and Indian Creek Country Club.  He is currently serving on the Nevada Economic Development Board and the Nevada Community School Foundation Board.  He has also served as Parish Council President for St. Patricks Catholic Church.

Dr. Stephenson married his wife Lori in 1992 and they have two children, Patrick and Abigail.  They both enjoy watching and coaching their children in their many athletic endeavors.  In his spare time, Dr. Stephenson enjoys golfing, going to Iowa Football games, and traveling.
